The State of Colorado allows parents and/or family members to become the child's Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) if the child qualifies for CNA Services from Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program).

A parent and/or family member must complete a nurse aide training program through a vocational school or agency that is approved by the Department Of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and pass a written and clinical exam.

For information on becoming a CNA, visit the State's website at https://cdphe.colorado.gov/chronic-disease-prevention/parents-as-their-childs-certified-nursing-aide-cna

Once you are a certified CNA, Colorado Family Caregivers may hire you on to provide CNA services to your eligible child.

We pay ALL our Parent CNAs the highest rate - $21.50/hr and $32.25/hr for every overtime hour! We are proud to publish our rates as we are the highest paying agency for parents!
